Strategy
Tidelock Command
★★★★☆ 4.3
Tidelock Command asks you to think like a quartermaster first and an admiral second. You juggle fuel, repairs and troop movement across a map of islands, and the game punishes greed hard. Overextend and your fleet starves before it reaches the enemy.
The pace is slower than most mobile strategy, which we loved. You can pause and plan, then let a turn play out and watch your logistics hold or crumble. It rewards patience and a bit of scribbling on paper.
Interface-wise it's dense, and newcomers may need the tutorial twice. Once it clicks, though, few mobile strategy games feel this considered.
What we liked
- Logistics that actually matter
- Pause-and-plan pacing
